The CHildren and Athletes Regenerative MEDicine (CHARMED) Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organization, Devoted to clinical research of regenerative medicine to improve and save children’s lives and accelerate recovery from athletic injuries.
The vision of the CHARMED Foundation is a focused collaborative effort involving leading scientists, bioengineers, and clinicians, which will dramatically accelerate the development and translation of regenerative medicine therapies specifically designed for the functional needs of children and athletes.
What is regenerative medicine? The Mayo Clinic defines it as “a game-changing area of medicine with the potential to fully heal damaged tissues and organs, offering solutions and hope for people who have conditions that today are beyond repair.”
The CHARMED Foundation does not support research involving embryonic or fetal stem cells.
