Program Overview

The C.H.A.R.M.E.D. Foundation 24‑Hour Childcare & After‑School Education Center is a safe, nurturing, and educational environment designed to support working parents, single parents, teen parents, students, and families with nontraditional work or school schedules. Our center will serve newborns through youth ages 14, providing round‑the‑clock childcare, transportation to and from school, and structured after‑school tutoring and enrichment programs.

This program is rooted in lived experience. As a former single teen mother, our founder understands firsthand how access to reliable childcare can determine whether a parent completes high school, earns a degree, secures employment, or remains trapped in cycles of hardship. Many families today lack extended family support. Our center exists to bridge that gap—so no child is left unsupervised and no parent is forced to choose between their child’s safety and their future.

• Preschool (3–5 years)
• School‑Age Youth (6–14 years)
• Teen parents

• Parents working overnight or nontraditional shifts

Core Services

24‑Hour Childcare

• Licensed, age‑appropriate care available day, evening, overnight, weekends, and holidays
• Safe sleep protocols for infants and overnight youth
• Nutritious meals and snacks
• Trauma‑informed, culturally responsive care

Transportation Services

• Daily transportation to and from school
• Transportation to approved educational and enrichment programs
• Safe, insured, background‑checked drivers

After‑School Tutoring & Enrichment (Ages 6–14)

• Homework assistance
• Reading and math tutoring
• Study skills development
• STEM, arts, and life‑skills enrichment
• Supervised care for older youth so parents don’t have to leave children home alone

Youth Development & Life Skills

• Social‑emotional learning
• Conflict resolution

• College and career awareness (for older youth)
